who ruined my day. Well, not really "ruined" my day, but made it complicated.
See, said squirrel, who MUST have been a male...climbed into an electrical substation in the business district of Olde Towne...I am guessing to "get a nut"...and he died by electrocution, thus taking out the WHOLE DARN GRID with him.
This mishap occurred at 9:27 am yesterday. The power did not come back on until 1:30 pm. It takes approximately one hour to heat a brick pizza oven to the precise temperature needed for amazing pizza.
Lunch service was gone yesterday. Completely DONZO.
Damn Squirrel.
